My name is Kaila Lee. I just began new role as a Product Designer at Duolingo.

I recently graduated from UC Berkeley’s Master of Design program. There, I strengthened my practice as a designer to craft experiences that make our world a more ✽ joyful, intentional space.

My core motivation is to build things that last and solve real-world problems. Being a designer has allowed me to ⁕ meet communities where they are, become their ally, and utilize my own toolkit to empower them.

When I’m not working ☻ I may be trying a new café or exploring a local book shop. And on the occasion the sky is clear in Pittsburgh, I might be walking through Frick, or reading at my desk.
